Spring migration is on the way shortly, here is the link to a excellent resource if you are interested in learning your local birds or you plan on traveling to new areas and want to learn the local birds. You can customize your quiz to make as easy or hard as you wish. You can customize by state or country and it includes areas all over the world.

64 out of 100. I guess I better stick to eating pheasants. At least I can identify them.

Thanks for posting, I got knocked off my high horse on 100 common WI birds, some tough plumages, and never knew there was an all white great blue heron, albino maybe?

one had two birds in it. Loggerhead shrike and dead english sparrow...that one threw me
so I got " soaring with the crows title "
hard to do on the screen on my putter

Bright side is you have a couple more snow days coming up…..lots of time to practice.

Not albino, just a white phase of the bird. More common in Southern Florida, Caribbean, and Central American. Not very common in Wisconsin, that was definitely a cheat.

there is a very large colony of white great blue herons in Manitoba by the Narrows in Lake Manitoba 2-300 birds

during the salt trade many skins were sent in down Lk Manitoba on the boats, the families that harvested them did not it known where they came from. colonies found in the 1960 but salt harvest was till 1890's on Lk Winnipegosis
the movie crew and actors from the Soprano's own land close to there
