ZEP Questions???

How does the ZEP coating work on bodygrips and watertraps...Should I Paint then ZEP or just Paint? Thoughts? I went through the archives but didn't see anything too definitive.

Think someone said it turns them “white.” And I don’t think they wax coni’s. There was a recent post about this and even Zeps.

Paint your BG's. Waxing them can make them very touchy as the triggers become too slippy and unsafe.

Been using Zep commercial floor was for several years, never had a trap turn white. On coni bear I only wax the spring sides, never the trigger or dog. You want to make sure you put a nail between the jaws on your footholds, just like regular waxing.

Wrong.-Only if you played with them to make a hair trigger before waxing.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen....Been using F1 and am looking for something that protects the steel a little better.
