We still do lawn darts and crochet when we camp with some friends. There are a couple of nice old elderly ladies in our group that take crochet very serious and they can get not so nice
We also had the country version in late summer fall after the corn stalks had been cut and dried. Pull up the stub of a stalk with attached dirt and lob them at each other.
We set the target rings on each side of our home. Teams of two would stand to the side of home as jarts flew over roof. Parents were at work. Sure do miss those times!
Only target I ever threw them at were the rabbits in town. Never knew it was a game with rules and scoring. Rabbit were just as tasty but without shot to break your teeth on I'm them.
