44 Years - 09/09/22 06:03 PM
Today is our 44th anniversary. Not once in those 44 years has my wife ever complained about my trapping or hunting obsessions.
She even helped me sell my wares at several conventions. Her favorite conventions were always those in Wisconsin, and several of our anniversaries were celebrated there.
She once told me-I must be getting used to the smells,I can even sit next to the fox urine and eat a sandwich.
She also never complained about the house smelling like castors(I made my Moundmaster beaver lures in the basemant. Her sister came over one time and asked what that smell was,Nancy sniffed the air and said"smells like money to me".
I have surely been blessed with a lady that has put up with me that long-she is do a big thank you--guess I will take her out to eat tonight, but that is small pay back for being married to a trapper.
