That part of Montana I was unfamiliar with, so doing a bit of research was a good education on the historical facts of the river and that region. A rondy held there is perfect for that old Mtn. Man hangout and trading .

I agree, Sharon. Looking forward to seeing you.

Maybe Snowy will show up there. He just dropped off the radar in February 2021. I believe he lives in Sidney

I would love to be able to go there , John, but this time, I won't be able to make it .

One of these times, I will . Looking forward to seeing some pics .

Nonsense. If you’re not there I’m telling everyone about that time you brought a drag queen back to the barracks. Lol.

I liked it in Missoula. Wish they would do it again there.

Re: NTA Western - 05/23/22 12:42 PM

Hat was a good one. The Forsyth place has a pretty nice setup too.
Posted By: sneaky

Re: NTA Western - 05/23/22 06:37 PM

Missoula is a short hop compared to Forsyth
Posted By: wissmiss

Re: NTA Western - 05/23/22 07:28 PM

Forsyth, Montana is 691.4 miles EACH WAY for me. Sorry, not gonna happen.

To me, that is almost a Midwestern rondy, not a Western. Just saying.

Re: NTA Western - 05/23/22 08:12 PM

The mountain men did 1,200 miles with no cars or air conditioning! Nancy, we’ll see you there. Lol

Phone says 937 miles, see ya there. Gas prices suck, but got a rondy to go to! lol. Come on and make the trip, Nancy. Would love to meet you and shake your hand!

Re: NTA Western - 05/24/22 03:12 AM

I agree with Lee. Now I’m afraid Nancy may try and hurt me. Prolly walk in with a disguise like those glasses with the nose and mustache. Slap me upside the head. Lol.

Re: NTA Western - 05/24/22 06:32 AM

Seeing as how several of you fine gentlemen would like me to attend the Western NTA coming up next month, perhaps if one of you would care to be my chauffeur, I would consider it.

How about it Lee Steinmeyer??? You could stop by and pick me up on your way. smile

Re: NTA Western - 05/24/22 05:30 PM

Dang Nancy, That would add a another 1200 miles to my already 1850 miles round trip! Might as well drive out to Washington to see my daughter, like I did when I left Missoula four or so years ago! Love to meet you, but that's extreme! smile

Re: NTA Western - 05/25/22 12:52 PM

Fancy, get here to Sun River by Thursday and I’ll take you. I’ll have room in the camper also. I’m bringing the FFL gun guy too so you’ll be as safe as the Alamo. Lol.

Re: NTA Western - 05/25/22 01:37 PM

Is the demo list set in stone yet because between the flyer I’ve seen and what’s on NTA page there’s a few differences. Thanks

Anyone going to the Western that is interested in a half JRT and half Patterdale pup, Pm me and I can bring them along. We have four left, the first left this morning to his new home in Iowa. Three males and one female, all black. They look like their dad! Their mom is a rough coat jack, so they may develop some roughness as they get older. They are six weeks old and on puppy chow now.

Hey John, do you have plenty of inside tables, or do I need to tailgate?

I wouldn't miss one in my state for anything.
Thank you N.T.A. , Montana Trapper's for hosting and F.B.U.
for all they do .
And other state trapping Association's that had booth's and thanks
to all them for what they do.

We had a great time. For once in my adult life I’m able to see the same people over and over. Moving every few years in the Marines got older than I thought.

I enjoyed it. As I said in the chat area on this site, it was good to put faces to names.
