My '02 turns 20 this year. I've had it for 19 of those 20 years. I looked at the odometer the other day and it was over 292k.

I hope yours gives you as much as mine has. Congratulations.

Hey J, they ended up fixing it. 8 grand in damage. Got it back on Tuesday, traded it in yesterday. Was thinking about doing that before I got hit.

2018 here it’s a great truck but the warning bells, buzzers and lights drive me crazy my first thought is now what when one goes off. The seatbelt cycle will drive you crazy when checking a lot of traps close together. LOL

I have the 6 cylinder good milage when empty it drops a lot pulling weight or even a empty single axle trailer. You will. Like it.

... Good Deal! ... all you need now is some mud grips... saddle blanket seat covers and some dashboard decor ...

Not a lot of city driving here, so my seatbelt just stays connected for trapping season.

Take it to your toyota dealer and they can shut the seat belt chime off. For some reason they can't shut off the door chime though. I've had it done to at least 5 pickups after they made them so you couldn't just pull a fuse.

Re: I joined a cult today - 01/22/22 07:23 PM

Mine has a alarm for everything I tried to set the parking break and leave it in drive to stop the seatbelt cycle but it screamed even louder then. LOL

Looked on YouTube it’s pretty simple to disable the seatbelts hold down the odometer reset 10-15 sec then buckle it then press the same button once.

Don't know bout saddle blankets but seat covers are no. 1 on the list. The Chevy had neoprene from Wet Okole since it was a month old. They faired pretty good. [Linked Image]

Understand that. Bought my first new full sized Chevy in 1985. Scottsdale package. Have had nothing since. Guess I'll see how this smaller truck works out.

I had a "little" truck, a Dodge Ram 50 (a rebadged Mitsubishi Mighty Max) for several years. It was a great trapline truck until PA road salt did it in. I've always had at least one pickup with a full size bed since about 1978.

The little Dodge looks like my Tundra's Mini Me.

That ain't a full size truck. Full size trucks have eight-foot beds.

This is a full size truck.
