largest coil spring trap

Does anyone know what the largest, as in inside jaw spread, coil spring trap on the market today? Is there anything bigger than a Bridger brawn # 9 ? and have you used the trap. Thanks

I believe Sleepy Creek made a coil spring bear trap. I dont know the measurements. Doubt they made enough to still be on the market today.

I have not used it nor do I own one , the reviews are interesting tail catches and both rear feet catches

What about the Manning #9 or Alaskan #9 made by one of the fine members here?

If I remember right, and I could be wrong, the Sleepy bear trap was 15" spread. 2 or 4 coil. I think it was around 50#.

I was going to buy one. Never did. Wish I had!

Just looked. Jaw spread was 16 1/2" with teeth.

TS 8.5s are 8.25 inside jaw spread which is well under the inside spread of the inside laminated version of the Brawn at 8 5/8
