Like the title says, would paraffin wax work for making wax dirt or does it have a smell? Asking for a friend (cough cough)

That’s what I used this year. My bag from F&T wasn’t enough for the dirt I had, to Hot to order any, so I picked some up at Wally World and put in on the cheese grater.

It works fine. Melted in nicely. It does freeze, here in AZ, but it’s a “dry” freeze. Lol. I do my foothold trapping in Utah, and they actually get Snow, in fact, I’ve heard them call it “the greatest snow on Earth”

Ditto Beav on yr choice ive been using unscented candle wax for over 20 yrs, have never bought advertised trap wax (1 #) . I have one waxing container that with accept three 330s standing upright.. which is for my foothold water traps also. Canine wax container seperate waxing operation and can dip 6 big canine traps at a time.
