Biggest deer in Ky update !!

OK the giant non- typical that I posted about a month ago has OFFICIALLY been green scored It came in at 236 4/8 . That will be hard to beat anywhere....

Not too shabby. You guessed him at mid 230s the day you got him!

LOL NOT me !!! but was killed 3 miles from my back door. This buck has run the city limits here his entire life.
He will loose around 4 inches (maybe) after he dries. BUT he has already been curing 35 days. The local guy here mounting him is entering him in some world completion. That Mt lion is also.

Guy that killed him runs a local garage and wrecker service. He watched him all summer and waited until he shed his velvet before trying to kill him. Shot him with a compound bow.

I've scooped up more big racked bucks inside Atlanta than I've ever seen live on the hoof outside.

Amazing buck for sure but there are hundreds of bucks that score higher and several larger already this year. I can tell you for sure that my eyes would look like that too if I shot that buck.

So is “officially green scored” some sort of Kentucky terminology? Since there’s nothing official about green scores.

You guys definitely have some nice bucks down that way, Jbyrd. I was just down in Springfield during your 2 day youth season with my son hunting with Whitetail Crossing Outfitters. We had a blast and saw a couple studs. He has one more year left to youth hunt so I’m going to bring him down again next year and let him try again. Hopefully we can get him a nice one. He shot 2 does this trip down.
