Small river Small Mouth

No Boat. Just Waders and walking. Great chance to look at things before trapping starts.

I have a couple rivers I have waded in on an off for over 30 years. My son and I started when he was 12 doing this type of wading for smallies. Today it is harder for me to stay stable on the slippery and round rocks but I do take some shorter trips now. Fall was always a great time as the fish are hungry and the scenery with the fall colors really great.

I know what you mean I picked up some new bugs and gonna try it again next week.

i loved to fish the Grasse river Mole on the days it was too windy to get on Black lake.swear it was a smallmouth every cast and a walleye or musky would pop up now and then.
