Buffer tube sling plate by magpul. You got to purchase the tool to remove the buffer tube though.

Doesn’t the stock at least have a sling attachment loop on the butt end? Otherwise there should be a hole on stock somewhere intended for a sling....can you take a pic of it? Check out Magpul.com. They have lots of mounts, adaptors and the best black rifle slings. The MS line of slings a what I use. Can convert from a single point attachment or dual.

Looks like yours is missing parts or someone added some to the one in the link above.

Go to Grovtec.com, look at the sling tail buttstock push button base adapter item #gtsl117. It goes in the slot next to your thumb that can be seen in your photo.

you need a sling mount https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1003222875?pid=595957 your missing this part and the screw that holds it

if you prefer the Uncle mikes style sling studs use this one https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1003215018?pid=551584

Re: black rifle help with pic's - 12/27/19 03:34 AM

that said these are my favorite clips to use on slings for AR rifles https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1016446110?pid=248672

in the front I run one of these https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1016264662?pid=996888

and in the back para cord , it sounds cheap and it is but it is the best and quietest rear swivel I have found

it works very well , you could drill a hole or use that slot that you have

using the slot , works fine both ways
knots can be simple this is just a square not but it holds

You want a quick release sling for this type of sling. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=blue+for...mp;tag=mh0b-20&ref=pd_sl_b6mse7g8q_b or this is another. https://www.vikingtactics.com/category-s/1833.htm
Slings are a very important tool, for climbing walls or climbing deer stands, dragging a wounded person or a deer and can also for use as a tourniquet. You can go on YouTube to learn about these two slings. Both developed by Delta Force Operators.
In addition to the above, I would highly recommend to learn how to use a tourniquet and use rubber bands to secure to your stock, so it always with you.
I would just try to find a local tactical gun store for the quick connects and put them on while you are there, although I would stick to one of the above for a sling and bring it with you to the gun store.

how about the part where you use the sling to steady the shot , a man his rifle and sling to 500 yards once you learn to use it. 15 dollar GI web sling infinitely adjustable , works in hasty and loop , get you to a rifleman's 1/4 mile just fine.
