Beautiful morning for deer hunting in central Il ,who is out?

just returned from a 2 mile slow walk around the river bottom.3 pt in the yard with 7 doe when i stepped out.

ya can see a long ways today.

Seeing some deer would be nice. Just lots of birds so far

No deer hear either but a beautiful sunrise this morning.

legally I can't shoot yet. But soon.

Back at it this morning a bit windy here .

Watching the woodpeckers this morning at a new spot

Give me 5 hours, I'll be in the stand for the afternoon.

I’m hunting this morning. A little drizzle coming down. Deer activity seems slow.

Nothing moving here, except a grey squirrel building up his den in a tree 10 yards away. Second season is always slow in our woods.

Glad I don't have to contend with that snow had snow last year

Chuckels84 I had a red squirrel ruin a shot with a crossbow on a nice doe this year ,have to do some squirrel hunting after deer season.
