Big bear (score)

Shot a big bear in the food plot this morning, trying to find out the provincial record for Nova Scotia. Biggest I’ve ever seen or heard of around me. 501lbs. One very happy hunter/trapper right now .

Grain bullet.

Looks like this one will be over 7’ for sure. 7’ 1” just laying hide on ground.

What a Hog!!!

Just talked with the big game society, Nova Scotia record skull is 21 11/16. I’ll post where this one lands as soon as I know!

So did a home score this morning and looks like he’s going to land right around 20 5/16 - 20 7/16 (depending on scorer) I will be getting the official score done at the outdoorsman show next week.
Minimum score to make the provincial book is 18” so well into that.
Boone and Crockett awards book is 20” minimum, all time book is 21.
