"CAMPING AVAILABLE ON THE FAIRGROUNDS - First Come, First Served Basis Only
There are 100+ motorhome/camper sites which have water and electric. In addition, there are 50 sites which also have sewer hookup. There are 2 dump station available on the grounds. There are an additional 400 primitive campsites. The campground and buildings are situated on 77 acres of land.

The CAMPING MAP shows all hook-up sites and whether they are 30- or 50-amp. There are another 12 50-amp sites on a cement slab which are perfect for motor coaches.

It's enough that they tell you you can camp- no need to post Rates.

At least I wasn't the only one that couldn't find a price.

I couldn’t find it either and wouldn’t expect to just show up and slap my camper in hooker up and go. I’ve been to a few that said first come first serve then you get to the gate and they’ve got their hand out wanting your souvenir money.

That is probably the going rate for the area. Maybe even a good deal

Fairground rental prices keep going up.

Re: Nta camp price - 06/19/19 11:15 AM

KOA shows Daily Rates: $32.84 - $66.48
Highlands RV $40
Cook's RV $45-85
State parks in Mo. run $13 basic to ~45 full I think, so the NTA rates aren't unusual for the season and place.

I figured I'd day trip it. ~100m/2hr sleep at home and feed animals.

We plan on being there Friday and Saturday. Have to go to KC to doctor on Thursday or we would be there then also.

Re: Nta camp price - 06/19/19 12:16 PM

Has anyone head if a person coming from a distance can get on the grounds to camp Wednesday afternoon/evening?? I know in the past some places a person could others not? I was thinking of driving there on Wednesday and not waste Thursday on road. Don't really want to have to find a place to lay over for Wednesday night then set up again Thursday..

You should be able to. Might have to chase whoever is in charge of camping to take your money. Board members and volunteers will have been there a few days already camping.
