I remember using his lures back in the late 70’s and early 80’s with good success. I notice that Sterling fur is making them now. Anybody using them? Are they the same as they have always been?

I have quite a few unopened bottles that have been stored in an old refrigerator for a long time. He did a lot of advertising in the Trapper and Predator Caller during the 1980's .

IF they're made like they were when Helfrich ran the show they're good.We had a lot of fox then and Helfrich had a bobcat gland lure called "Spotted Death",it was packed full of glands that the eye droppers dealers used to give out with lure back then were useless.Myself, along with other trappers in the area loved it as a fox lure.He had other lures that were good, but Spotted Death stood out.I haven't bought any since the business was sold so I can't say one way or another if they're still made to the old specs.
