alternitive trap dip ??

anyone of you trappers use a concrete sealer to dip traps??

I've used acrylic concrete cure on water traps works as good as any.

thanks for bringing this back up BigBob, I had done give up. there is a very well known trapper on here that uses this method or one similar . im hoping he will chime in. i just cant remember which trapper it is!!

up one more time,, someone has to have some info on this

I use a paint dip to start with, then have used FMJ on top, for dirt sets only, don't use on traps going in water. But I have seen some using a floor wax for both dirt & water.

I don't know about concrete sealer but I don't know why some of the commercial floor finishes wouldn't work.

Waco I’ve not used it and don’t know anyone that has , that being said someone has to be the first ! I would mix a small batch with whatever they recommend for cleanup. Apply it to a trap or two and let us know what you think !

I would stay away from Thompson’s, as the concrete guys I know do not like it for this area . They recommend the sealer being sold at Ready Mix , sorry I don’t have a name brand.
