Re: Ouiji Board - 01/01/19 12:02 AM

I have talked to a lot of people who experienced, strange, scary experiences while using and after using a Ouija Board. I have always declined any invitation to try one. I also turned down ownership of a Ouija Board made in 1895 and a grimoire. I did have second thought about the grimoire later on. I am unsure if any of that stuff works. I am unsure of the existence of ghosts and demons. I see very little advantage, besides satisfying my curiosity, in trying to find out.

Some folks seem to think that that movie was a documentary. grin
The "pointer" is guided by unconscious muscular exertions. The illusion that the pointer is on its own is enough to convince some people that "spirits / demons" ,whatever you want to call them are at work ... The unconscious muscle movements responsible for the moving the pointer are called "dissociative state". There is nothing supernatural about it.

Re: Ouiji Board - 01/03/19 06:09 AM

Well I hate to resurrect this thread back to the top, but maybe I can shed some light on the subject. If not it won't be the first time I've tried and fell flat.
An idol is just a dead thing it has no life except what I enable it. It cannot hurt me. What someone else believes, tells me about them, not the idol. It does not have to be something bad the idol will do to me, but maybe something good it can do for me. For instance a lucky rabbits foot. My first question would be is how lucky was it for the rabbit? Lets say someone keeps a rabbits foot with them all the time and they just can't function without it. Is it my duty to convince them that what they are believing is foolishness? Not necessarily even tho that is what it is. That might be the only thing that person has for hope. Until I can give him something better to hope in then I should not rob him of his only thing to hold to. Even tho I know its foolishness; he does not. I have seen lost people go to church with nothing but their idols, and have them ripped from them and replaced with nothing. We need to give them a hope they can hold to before taking their idols from them. If we don't we are just robbing them of their idols.

I knew a guy that had a son 7 yrs old that could really play a guitar that was more than a toy, but he was outgrowing it fast and his dad felt he would be better off with a better one. One day he asked his son about trading guitars, he said no and started crying and could not vision how any guitar could be better than what he had. Well his dad knew a guy that wanted that guitar for his young son and would give $100 for it. He knew of a place that had one that was a step up from his sons for $200, but he only had $100 so he had to sell the other one to come up with the $200. He told the store he would be back before 10 pm closing time to get the guitar. He goes home and waits until his son goes asleep and takes the guitar from his bed and heads to the first guys house and gets the $100 for his sons guitar. Then heads for the store but has a flat tire and does not get there before they close. He did not know what he was going to do, now he had no guitar. He saw a convenience store down and across from the music store, still open and asked them if they knew the owner of the music store. Happened to be their relation and they called the guy and he said he would be right down. So the guy paid him for the guitar and got home and made the switch before the little boy woke up. He was proud of his guitar. The father was really worried not knowing if he would get back before his son woke and had no guitar.

When we mess with people and their idols we are sometimes more interested in destroying the only hope (although false hope) that they have than replacing it with a better hope. Are we about hope and life or just fanatic about destroying evil?

When Saul was desperate and went down to see the Witch of Endor it was not the fact that the witch pretended to bring back Samuel that hurt Saul. It was the fact that the Spirit of the Lord had already left Saul. Its the same way with spiritism in that it only has as much power to hurt us as what we give it or the lack of our will to believe in something real and better.

Re: Ouiji Board - 01/03/19 09:41 AM

if you really want answers to questions or the ability to communicate with the dead you must first undergo the transformation. You will need an aide. To do the ceremony without an aide is very dangerous.

You must start with the bones of a billy goat. Grind them into powder. Use the bone dust to make a pentagram on bare earth. Just mark it out with a stick then use your fist to dribble out the goat bone dust on the diagram. Build a fire in the center of the pentagram. When it gets going good consecrate it by tossing in the carcass of a fresh killed black cat. You must drink no water or eat any food till the ceremony is complete. remove all clothing and dance bare naked around the fire. Usually about 2 days. Your aide is to keep the fire going. It must not go out. When you fall unconscious to the ground, (be patient it will happen) your aide must immediately draw an upside down cross on your forehead with ashes from the fire. Then give you sips of water. Keep drinking till you have drank a couple gallons. Go slow there is no hurry. After the water has been drank, eat raw the heart from the billy goat you made the pentagram with. At this point you will be transformed, will have had a vision or two, will be able to communicate with the dead and get answers to questions. No Ouija board needed.

What I have observed so far is a lot of " i know a guy who had a friend that had weird things happen " Not one first hand report. Reason being that the ones that believe in the ability to conjure up demons etc. are to scared by third party reports to have a go.

I am not knocking anyone , it is just an observation that I find interesting.

Considering that the board game as patented in the early 1900's in the US and that folks then where closer to religion then they are now, it makes one wonder how they got a devil calling device patented.

I think that spell would work on the freaky looking thing too, so I am ready to offer two spells for $50.00.

I went to shore today and got as far as the marina parking lot. There where three of the ghost busters there with their ghost catching things on their backs. I turned tail and went back to the boat, shut the doors and hatches and tried to get myself one of them there ghost catching devices online. turns out they were gardeners with leaf blowers. You lot got me all paranoid with your demon stories.

I had a demon in me after Mexican food night at the local bar once last year.

He eventually left.

As long as we're on the subject (can't believe this thread has gone on so long), I was looking at pictures on one of my trail cams on the trail to the mine I'm working on, and noticed this guy. I noticed he has a tattoo on his arm, I zoomed in on the tattoo and Googled it. Turns out this guy is a "professional" ghost hunter, he explores around old mines and other historic locations looking for ghosts. I guess at least his goofy hobby gets him outdoors.

Yup Foxpaw has some valid points. If one is into that sort of thing and believes in demons, ghosts or whatever in the first place. It depends on the person I guess.

Can energy be destroyed?
Posted By: Chamacat

Re: Ouiji Board - 01/06/19 12:23 PM

Yep..I don't think energy can be destroyed..And I don't think it can be created..I do believe it can be altered..energy is a constant in the universe..It has no beginning and no end..Which has nothing to do with good or evil..

Re: Ouiji Board - 01/06/19 12:31 PM

what I think too chama. im no physicist but the mystery of energy and the mystery of life are definitely related. if we ever solve that mystery we will be traveling to the stars.

some people are definitely born evil. ted bundy or the btk killer in Wichita for example. I don't know why. I suppose its possible that evil energy stays evil and changes form. some people become evil due to circumstances in their life while others in the same circumstance do not. another mystery.

I do not believe Ouija boards have anything to do with that. I am surprised that in 2019 people still believe voodoo is real.

Danny I think those people you refer to that "still belief in voodoo" are the same ones that Hilary hates so much.

Re: Ouiji Board - 01/06/19 01:18 PM

Yep..There was this guy in my crew once..He was from the Island of Aruba..After a week or so..He pulled out of his pocket some highly polished black stones..I could barely understand him..what I got out of it was HIS belief of the amount of power these stones had..I think there was three..On and on about these stones..I listened politley and when he was done..He asked me what I thought about his magical stones..I said how does your other stones feel about it? You know getting rubbed all day..He just looked dazed and confused...LOL...

We had an elderly man with altzhiemers turn up missing a few years ago, he was 92. We searched for him in a plane for 2 weeks. Could not find him

I called a psychic I know up, I said.. can I ask a favor. He said.. "Let me get my pendulum out". He then said "He is S SW 18 miles from WHERE YOU ARE NOW in Water"

about 2 weeks later they found him dead in his car
He was in a big mudpuddle
S SW from me

I immediately plugged the adress into google , it said 18 miles
I then put it into my car GPS , said 18 miles
I then drove it, it was 17.9 miles, I could not get past a gate

I texted this info to a police chief before he was found, and it's still on my cell phone, showing the date it was sent

Psychic and paranormal stuff does exist.

I guess one question I would have would be if you couldnt get thru the gate how did he? Did he have a key or did he frequent there some. Its a shame someone couldnt get in contact with his live spirit before such a tragic end. Actually I do feel sorry for your psychic friend, I dont doubt the event happened, but that must put terrible expectation on him to produce future results with a better outcome.I believe a person could get locked into a thing like that and even become enslaved to it. I think his chances of overcoming the constant wanting and needing more would be an uphill climb.
I'm thinking his record would be random walk at best, with no predictability to his predictions.
I guess my last question would be how much he charged you for the help.
