Pretty light sentence for what he did. Will be surprised if he don't slide out of it with an appeal.

Because he is a celebrity. He will be a security risk in general population. Other inmates could harass or try to make him give them money. Or they could take him hostage thinking they could get something for it. The chances are that it likely wouldn’t happen, but why take that risk and have him in general population?

He is basically a security risk by being who he is. That is how the security protocols work in Delaware, it could be different in Pennsylvania. I haven’t worked in a prison in years so it has probably changed.

I saw his lawyer on tv say that this was the most racist and sexist trial ever in American history.
Also saying how Cosby has been a civil rights leader for the past 50 years

The case that was prosecuted, bothers me. Because over 10 years ago, the DA declined prosecution, and then there was a civil case. He was deposed, and not afforded the protections of the 5th Amendment. The complainant dropped the case in exchange for over $3million. Then she resurfaced to demand prosecution in the Cosby fallout of 3-4 years ago. A new prosecutor now wants to run with the case, base largely of the statements made by Cosby in the depositions, made largely with the understanding they wouldn't be used in prosecution (as promised by the previous DA). This is using he Constitution like a wad of toilet paper. You all may be comfortable with it, I'm not.

That is life for him. Most likely die there.

But not true on your assessment. Plenty of people walking the streets after less than 3 years that have done FAR Far worse. Only to do it again. Yeah, it's all kinds of broken.

He is 81. I'm sure there is a cell block for old men and their needs. I doubt the other old men pose a special threat.

This idea that women are believable who wait 30 years to report an assault is pretty strange. I aint buying it.
