Been married 32 years! Few years back I was on my cell phone waiting for my turn at the jewelry counter. When the lady behind the counter walked up she heard me say that I had to go because I was shopping for an anniversary present. She asked how long I’d been married and I told her 29 years. In her sweetest voice she said, “that’s a long time”! I looked her right in the eye and responded, “ma’am, you have no idea”!!!!!!! She didn’t say it but the look on her face said, “you’re a complete ahole”!!! I still think it’s funny!!
