UV Light

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn as much as I can. Do beaver, otter, mink, muskrat, etc see UV light? The reason I ask is in an earlier thread I asked about rust on traps and it was brought up to dip/paint traps to help curb rust. Should I be using a UV-free dip on my water sets? Or does it not matter. Sorry, I'm a hardcore waterfowler and ducks definitely see UV so I wanted to run it by you guys.

Don't over think it on those water traps....just paint and set them.
