Is there a correct place to attach the tags to the trap??? i recieved my first order from the Snare Shop and bought 50 tags with the little fasteners, but i'm not sure where the best place is to stick em. the chain seems like the most logical place with those little clips, but i didn't know if that would be correct.

thanks, RP

I like to put mine on the chain, close to the stake. They don't get chewed up/off near as bad that way.

I put them 3 links down the chain from the trap, looks real nice and uniform...LOL

I like to put them close to the stake on the chain as well, for the same reason

Throw those little clips in the garbage. Best place for the tag is wrapped as tightly as possible inside the body of your last swivel. I wrap mine, then crimp it tight with pliers. Haven't lost one yet. I'm not sure who gave me the idea. Freak I think. Thanks Freak!

I put them on the swivel like mike stated, If I think I am in a high theft area, I will put one on the frame of the trap under the pan also, theifs dont look there for tags. and I have gotten traps back because of it. good luck. woody

Yeppers, on the chain, wrapped tightly, and crimped with pliers (like the others). I have always done this, and a lot of thieves don't recognize it either.
