Is millet the best bait to use in a sparrow trap ? Or is there something else to get them in there quick?

I always had good results with light colored baits, cracked corn (cheapest), millet, bread etc.

I have been pre-baiting for sparrows and they are devouring through millet and black-oil sunflower seeds. I am keeping in mind that in these winter months their food options are more limited, so they may be more selective this spring and summer.

The problem I have is they are in a good sized storage barn loaded with 50 lbs bags of wild bird seed and other animal feed ..nets won't work here..
