No that's how you do it . I think they stand there walls up first then square them up . They build differnt all over the county ,here we frame the walls then square them up ,sheet with plywood if it's siding ,then put on the over hangs , then we put in the windows and side the walls then stand the wall up . here the gables go on before we stand the wall too . If it has bays or box outs that goes on first before you stand it up . Some parts of the county they still stick frame , at least that's what it is called here , dang stick framers . I've herd that one like ten million times . Nothing wrong with it , if you only have two guys then it's hard to raise the walls . You need two guys on the wall jacks and it's good to have one more to brace the walls off once it's up . You can also do the math so your poles on the wall jacks will stop the wall right where you want it . I have 5 wall jacks because sometimes it a really big wall . It's good to have 50 foot of cable on them too because of the big balloon framed walls there 18' tall most of the the time so you need 20 ' poles on the jacks . They also can be used to pull in or suck in a wall tight just like the video. You can also use a pull brace by taking a 2 + 6 like 16 ' long and nail one end to the top of the wall then take the other end and nail in to the deck into a joist , then take a 4' piece of 2 + 4 and wedge it in the middle then but your back into it making it bow up and that will pull in the wall and that's how you straighten the walls before you set trusses or rafters , second deck . I thought the video was cool my self I just wish he would have shot more to show what they were trying to do in there . I was checking out Vinke videos the other day thought they were good
