My homemade fleshing beam is not getting the job done....at least not to my satisfaction. Admittedly, my el cheapo 2 handle knife is part of the problem. I plan to replace it, as well as buy a legitimate beam. Before I buy a new one, I want to make sure I'm getting the right one and will be able to mount properly. Has it is, stooping over is hard on the back. Let's see some setups.

Thanks for the photos, anybody else?

Also, do you stand or sit when fleshing?

I have mine set up vertical. I can flesh anything but a beaver on with the beam set up like this. I prefer to pull to me, not push away. Just my set up. The blue half cut barrle is a fat catcher I made out of a plastic 55gal drum. Works well for catching all the fat and make clean up easy.

Buzzy you put a pic up for show, cause that thing has never had a hide fleshed on it. It is way to clean.
