it shouldnt, its almost that same consistancy of insulation. works great if you glue it under your pan or just stuff it under there before you bury your trap

But deer dont leave catch circles. And thats what is at some of my sets. And at others there is the trap just fired but not really moved out of the bed. Yeah my trap is beded very solid. Like it feels like it is in concrete.lol

I have that same problem sometimes, I think it may be too much grass or really anything in the way of the jaws, slows it down and gives the animal a chance to escape.

Set two traps! Dont think a animal would get out of two traps reel easy. It has too be trap shy by now though.

I make sure there is no nothing in the sifted soil. But i will check again. Bandit that is what i am gonna do to one of my sets tonight i hope. I went and checked and sure enough there was another pull out. So i am gonna get that animal that is doin it be seting a Victor #2.

i put cotton balls under my pans so they have to be completely commited on the trap to fire, and make sure there bedded solid cotton balls will freeze, they absord moisture and will freeze and freeze to teh trap and or pan.. might want to use some underalls, or crinkled up wax paper..

hey put a bucket trap about six feet away with the same bait or lure your using at the traps that you have the pull outs at. I had something that was doing the same thing last year so I set a trail cam next to my traps and found out that every day a coyote was doing it so I set the bucket trap next day he was in it dead . so I watched the tape and saw him set off the dirt hole set and head right for the bucket set I never had a pull out since.
