I see many of our Trappermen members have created an account with Talkshoe and are joining in on the shows using their Trapperman screen names. It’s nice to see familiar faces during the shows. Thanks to you all who have taken the time to do this.

Every show there is several comments about folks not being able to sign in with their Trapperman user name and password. Here’s why your Trapperman user name and password are not working.

The shows are hosted on Talkshoe , which is a different web site then the Trapperman forums. To join in on the live shows with your Trapperman user name you will need to create an account with talkshoe. It is free and very easy.

Go to www.talkshoe.com and click on the Sign-Up button.
Select a log in name. Your log in name can NOT have spaces. It needs to be one continuous word. Example, AndyNutoy, not Andy Nutoy.
Type in a password that has both letters and numbers.
Select a ten digit PIN. If you use you're phone number as you’re PIN and you call into the show from that number, talkshow will recognize you’re PIN by caller ID and list you automatically as you’re screen name.
If you call in from a different phone, when prompted you can enter you’re PIN and it will list you in the room as you’re screen name.
Done deal.

Once you have created you’re account, you can go to “my talkshoe”, “profile”, and select a screen name, which can be different from you’re log in name. If no screen name is selected you will be listed in the room as you’re log in name.

Some FAQ’s.

Q. Does it cost to call in?

A. Yes and No. If you have a free long distance service it doesn’t cost anything to call in. If you do not have a free LD service. You’re normal long distance fees apply. It does not cost anything to connect to the show.
It is defiantly better to call in if you have free long distance. Please be cautious of background noise when calling in.
On show nights, to call in, dial 1-724-444-7444, when prompted enter the call ID number 20043 followed by the # key. You can not call in any sooner than 15 minutes before showtime.

Q. Do you have to have an account with talkshoe to participate in the shows?

A. No. You can join in as a guest on both the log in and the call in.

I am having trouble hearing anything during the live shows.
The live shows use streaming audio. Sometimes it may take a few minutes for the streaming audio to start playing over you’re computer speakers. If you have a slow internet connection like dial up, it may take longer. If after awhile you are still unable to hear, click on the “trouble hearing” button that is by the volume control button. It is just below the Streaming Audio notice. This will open a separate audio player and it will usually play better for slow connections. If this separate player quits working, close it out and hit the trouble hearing button again,
Also, with slow connections you will not be able to “surf” the internet and listen to the shows at the same time.
