First off, I'd like to thank everyone for the suggestions they've already submitted and for the great participation on the shows.

Here are some suggestions for furture shows. Feel free to add to the list.
**denotes** shows that have already been recorded.

**Alaska Trapping**
**Bobcat Trapping**
**Coon Trapping**
** Alaska Trapping Part II**
**Beaver Trapping**
**Writing Articles, The Do's and Don'ts**
**Proper Use and Selection of Lures and Baits**
**Fox Trapping, Greys and Reds**
**Fur Handling, From the Trap to the Sale**
**Weasel Trapping**
**General Snaring**
**NTA, FTA and State Associations, The Future of Trapping**
**Full Time Trapping**
**Coon Trapping With Dog Proof Traps and Mink Trapping**

Cougar Trapping.
Otter Trapping.
Coyote Trapping.
Martin and Fisher Trapping.
Cold Weather K9's.
Mink and Muskrat Trapping.
Trap Preparation and Modifications.
An Evening with Delta Waterfowl, How Waterfowl Benefits From Trapping.
Setting up a Fur Shed.
Running a Trap Line as a Business.
Taxidermist of Animals and Selling to the Taxidermist Market.
Trapline Safety.
More Alaska Shows.
Boat Trapping.
Why Do We Trap?
Trapping Multiple Species.
Hobby/Part Time Trapping.
Scouting For The Trapline.

Please understand, I will do my best to get the guest speakers for the suggested episodes but any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

If you know of someone you'd like to hear as a guest speaker, feel free to PM them and put me to the Add Recipient box.
Using the Add Recipient feature is nice because all the parties involved can read the replys to the PM and it makes keeping track of PM's a lot easier.

Also, please be courteous when asking someone to be a guest speaker. If they are not interested that is okay. Some people are not comfortable speaking in front of a crowd. As the shows get more popular I forsee more people stepping up to participate in them.

Okay, lets hear em.

Thanks, Andy

I suggest the following show topics

The future of trapping?what are we doing to proctect and preserve our right to trap?

Fur market-have nafa and or fha in to talk about the current fur market

NTA Do a show on the NTA and have officers and bod members to answer questions about what the NTA is doing and is going to do,as well as info on joining ect...

FTA-same as NTA

Have someone do a show live from the NTA convention,,Let everyone know whats happening and how its going...

Do a show on dogproof traps and why and how to use them.

Just a few ideas I think would be good for future shows,Chuck

The other fur....skunk, possum, etc...trapping and putting up the fur.

Highly recommend Phil Brown, I know he is a fox man but his videos he shared with us shows he knows other critters. Tom

That will be included in part in the Aug 15th show. There will be some very knowledgable guest speakers on that show.
I have assured them they will not be asked to reveal any trade secrets on the show.

Chuck, I like your thinking. I'll add those suggestions to the list.

Keep em coming. \:\)

Andy, it would be neat to have some country furbuyers on the show and talk about what they want and look for in green and put up fur. What things you get deductions for. How they recommend killing trapped animals, etc. Thanks, Wild Ed

How about all canines. Meaning what will work on all of them and what won't work on all of them. Dirt hole's work on pretty much everything out there but the different locals of the set for each one and what goes down the hole. We have alot of song dogs in eastern ohio and it's only getting worse. I just would like to know of some sure fire locations for sets and things that need to go into the hole. also trap prep tricks, and scent control around sets. just new at this going into third year thanks guys also it's a great show keep up the good work.

I'd really like to see/hear something on mink dealing with everything from opening day to the transition when it freezes up. The complete Mink season so to speak.

I can slam the mink when the water is water, but when it turns to ice I am just about clueless. Granted, I have never really went after them or tried to figure it out after the hard-water season, but the only mink I've killed during that time has been an occasional one in a cat/fisher set-

thanks-
michael

How about an interview with some of the larger trapping supply business owners. How they got started and maybe a some considerations for those that may want to start one.

A lot of good sugestions here. Muskrat and mink could fill up a whole show. I would also like to hear a show on runing a line from a boat or canoe.

Hi folks. Sorry for the absense lately. I just got back in from Puerto Vallarto, Mexico.

I'm working on setting up a few shows and if all goes well we'll have a otter trapping show for 6-19-09 and a trapping multiple species show shortly after.

Thanks for all the great suggestions and for the participation in the shows.

Due to a convention obligation the otter show will not air on 6-19-09. Once scheduled, the date will be posted on the Trap Talk forum.

Andy,

Time to fire them back up!

How about a trap prep- modifications, tuning, etc. show?

Can have guys who are experts with different types of traps... long springs, coni's, coils, etc and can go from new to field-ready or how to take care of some new-used traps...
