Replacements are available at most trapping supply places. Paul sells terminator triggers right here on this site that come with stainless steel wires for long life but they are just for 330's I think.

I use hanger wire as well on mine from time to time in a pinch.

TexA suggests you wrap the two wires together on your 220's and you'll get extended life as well. Good idea I think. \:\)

The CDR 330s are the terminators, The 220s are Eliminators

I know about the hanger trick (works in a pinch). But I'm looking for good triggers to start the season and last.

When I was broke and first started using body grippers, I used coat hangers for replacement trigger wires, as some others have commented on. Used them for years. They seemed to last longer than the factory wires. You can also make the wires a tad longer than factory - I like them like that.

How do you fasten the wires on? Weld ?

I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of that copperclad wire...real stiff stuff.

OK, I'll try that. I still have a few old type triggers with the 2 rivets and the trigger wire shaped like an 'm' held by the rivet heads. They're the worst ...

I've used the copperclad wire for years. Good stuff. Fortunately I've got a huge roll that should last me the rest of my life.

There is nothing wrong with the rived trigger wires. You simply bore them out, shape your wire to it, and use brass machine screws to re-assemble.
If the traps were made with machine screws they would probably cost a little extra.
I don't like rivets in padded jaw traps. Yeah, I know, I don't like them either, but sometimes they are required. When I have to replace the pads, I do the same thing, bore out the rivets and re-assemble with brass machine screws.
