Bushman, those are some really neat pics! Of course, that moose was old, sick, lame, etc., etc. All of the wolf-huggers down here have given us to understand that they never kill anything healthy.

I see in the papers where the alpha male of one of the packs in Yellowstone has mange. "Oh my, what will we do?" seems to be the general outcry among the bios. I also hear by way of the grapevine that our little resident pack here has it, too. Guess we'll just have to hide and watch.

Rick, You didn't hear any out cry from the bios that actually manage popualtions or habitat in Idaho, Montana or Wyoming. Its just those protect everything "Parkies". Heck, most of us thought it was great when they got Parvo in 2005 and lost most of the pups.

Looks like Idaho plans to manage them using only trained and experienced professional biologists. Naaa, just kidding - they're going to use "focus groups" and public input. I must have been sick the day they talked about focus groups in college. I HATE it when that happens!

Dusty - When I said manage pops and habitat I was talking more about what the wolves are munching. Obviously, the big dogs are still listed and we cannot do much there yet.
