Picked up a few odd balls today.

A number four sized trap. Toothless jaws, spitting image of a number four newhouse, with "Hawley & Norton" and "made in Canada" the rest is about unreadable. Any ideas on a value? Chain is half there, and is unlike the chain on a 114.

Also got a regular raised panel number four, "Oneida newhouse animal trap co, lititz PA, reg. Us. Pat. Off #4"

Also a little number one. Nothing on the pan but the usual Victor "v", but it is dogless, and a cross section of the jaws looks like an L. as in, the jaws were made of angle stock, not flat stock.

Any more info on there traps would be appreciated.

So, I have figured out the Hawley and Norton isn't anything special, but what about the doses Victor? The jaws are bent as to basically make the trap sort of like. They are laminated. More surface.area. and dogless...Any ideas?

The only combo that would make sense to me would be if someone had installed All Steel jaws on a dogless The Victor and the first word was not visible which is common.

So, I think I messed up what I described to you guys.

Anyway, here are some pics

Is the Victor with double jaws rare?

The one in the pic closest to me, I got no clue. Any ideas? Maker, time frame, value?

The pan is on OK shape, and no sign of a stamp or writing

Huh. I was of the impression the double jaw Victor was a Victor all steel.

I described the trap incorrectly in my original post.

So, to get this straight, the double jaw trap is a Victor 1.5 double jaw, and the one closest to the camera is an oneida all steel?

Technically the double jaw Victor is a 91 or 91 1/2, depend on size.

A 91 has a spring the size of a # 1 long spring.

A 91 1/2 is the size of a 1 1/2 long spring.

It is most likely an "Oneida All Steel" but Oneida Community also made the same trap with a pan the reads "The Sure Grip" "Belmont Steel Co". Most "The Sure Grip" traps have regular jaws but they made some with the All Steel jaws.

Thanks everyone!

As usual it is appreciated. Despite them being worth little, it is always nice to know what they are.

Thanks again.
