Found this old newhouse trap on a junk jaunt. It looks like it is all original. The thing I question is the s hook in the chain. Look at the picture and if you have any knowledge on rather it is all original. Any information you have on this trap would be great if you would share. Year made, is it all original, and price. Thanks much.

S hook is original but the drag is not. The S hook is where the original 2 prong drag was attached. This model was made between 1911 and 1925.

Thanks much for the info. Snake collector do you know who made the drag. I cannot see any information stamped on the drag.
