I gotta hire this old fella. This guy has been calling me for two years now to come and pick up skunks  He called yesterday and said " I got two in a trap thus morning" I get there and it's momma and three kits, he said another small one was walking around and climbing on the trap Several neighbors gathered and watched the removal and I got to pass out cards to them I've caught two woodchucks together but 4 animals in a trap, I may have to pay this guy lol

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

Got a call Thursday night for skunks, mama & 7 little stinkers, caught two doubles & one single in tube traps, and another little one in a set made for a chuck, another two small ones today, but no mama yet.

I picked up 7 skunks yesterday (4 kits in one & 3 kits in another)... today I picked up momma and 1 kit together. Funny thing is the property owner swears she had "only 1" skunk! Boy was she wrong! We shall see what tomorrow brings!

lol...are those Havahart traps? I heard you can't even hold chipmunks in a Havahart! lol
I like trapping skunks. I don't think any animal is more feared by the general population. They're generally easy to catch, usually friendly and rather attractive fur wise.
I trapped out three family groups last week. One from under my own tool shed! One of the litters was young enough they could be handled and had no fear of me.
All were relocated. I hope they do well. Oh those are not Havaharts, those are even cheaper. I use a lot if the cheap traps. I have a few quality trąps but I trap to many locations where my traps a susceptible to theft These are the " buy 2 for $29" from the tractor supply store I got 21 of Those deals that 42 traps for $525

Thats all right, those tractor supply traps paid them selves off already & are still working, Don't blame you for using a cheap traps in high theft areas.

Heck yea I ran 10'new ones at the site for the NTA nation convention in Kalamazoo and caught 31 critters and nine are still in service, one got smoked by a raccoon, but he was still in it !
