I'm serious. According to the Andreski/Parr book the value is $250 in good condition and $400 in excellent. The pan looks really good so I would say it is at least in good condition, depending on the chain (not in picture) and the rest of the trap. It is one of the most valuable Diamond traps.

It's complete double jaw. Don't know if the chain is original or not. Jaws sit fine right at the lip. The jaws were high but don't have a #2 to compare. As far as I could tell it's original.
Since your both saying to go get it, I'm getting ready to go right now

The collapsed springs are what made me think that it might have been. I hope that you list it on the Bay as I am curious to see what kind of money the trap fetches. Vance's book has it listed at $100, and that's for a trap that is in superb condition.

Has that trap been in a fire? I would say so too. The peeling "blue" on the metal and the collapsed springs support this as well. Still a DANG good buy!
I have nothing clever to put here.

Yeah, I think I'll go with Wissmiss on that one, seems like the other is a scam!!! Well, since the trap never did make it to the Bay, I guess that we will never know, will we? Did you buy the trap, Crow?
