Kasey,
I have my insurance through Bob & Sons (West Bend) in Ohio. They have my business liability and the insurance on my office.
My Cost is $600-$700 per year. IMO they are great to work with.

Bob&Sons does not do Tn according to there ad in WTC mag. Which is west bend insurance per the ad. I have the same problem in Va they do not cover this state either. It must be the state laws because heath and auto are a pain in the butt here too.

Kasey this comes down to how much insurance you require or desire and then how much each agent charges for it.

I can buy insurance for a wide variety of prices. All comes down to what the company you are asking needs to cover you for that amount.

Some folks carry smaller policies some carry larger, just based on the folks on here you are likely to have people in all ranges.

I pay nearly $1k a year for my business insurance however I need certain levels for commercial or municipal accounts. Same with commercial auto two contracts I have require at least a 1 mill coverage just to drive and have my vehicle in operation on the contract with them.

In the end just sayin this depends and depends as well on the Q & A with your prospective agent.

Check with multiple agents and know that some in the industry use folks that know our industry while others use folks who take down a list of what we do, find or design a policy for you and put a price to it.

Like many business decisions you can get advice on who to use or how much to get but in the end the needs and decision are yours.

Best of luck!

Try Select insurance, also if you join NWCOA you can get it at a good price. Even with your membership cost plus insurance it would be less then 1100.00 I think. Have not done this yet but I'm also having trouble finding insurance that covers VA from independent agents. Not really interested in NWCOA at this time but...........

We use Christian Baker for our Wildlife liability and Select Insurance for our Pest Control liability.

It's all over priced! That's what the insurance people do (gamble/bet).
