I'm not sure what the stuff is really called, but I call it twist-link chain. I've heard it called kinkless chain. I have it on some old montgomerys, don't know if that was a factory feature or something added on later.

I checked MB, and they only carry loop and machine link chain.

Does anybody know of a source for the stuff?

I buy it at the Home Depot $1.07 per foot. Have them cut each
piece to length.... You end up with a lot more that way.

Don't forget to nuetralize the acid bath with baking soda.
