What does everyone like?

I have a couple of 4' Ketch Alls from WCS. Today I needed a shorter one and cut one in half. Since I need to buy another now I thought I would get everyone's opinions.

I make my own, nothing fancy and half the time it just sits in the truck or in the shop, so I couldn't justify buying one for what they retail at. Takes minutes to snag one and stuff it in a cage, our regs prohibit anything other than cages, so this homemade one does the trick. Under $20 and gets the job done when it needs too.

Few holes, sleeve, bolt and you could make an adjustable if need be.

I use what Allen sells. Sad to say I bought a small one that he got rid of. Its proven great for squirrels and any small animals, was a great deal at $6

Bob,

Just make your own catch pole. I made mine three years ago and I may have used it twice.

For those of you that make your own, does it lock? I like that feature about mine.

I use mine fairly regularly, usually its raccoons in empty dumpsters. Last month I had a coon that fell through a drop ceiling and was running around an office.

I could have used a squirrel sized one today, but this is the first time I could ever say that.

I have a 5 foot Ketch All and use it all the time. Last year had a dozen calls from local police for daytime coons bothering people , another in a basement in the middle of the night, and another call where 4 coons fell through a rotted ceiling of a trailer on to the kitchen table. Also have nabbed a few groundhogs who were acting strangely. Ketch All worked great. Wouldn't know what to do without it.

There is a great link on Youtube on how to make your own. I think it's by BossOfTheSwamp.
