I have an old triumph #0 L.S. with the T cut in the pan complete and in decent condition that I like. Any value to it?

No, but I will pay shipping to send it to me. Really, depending on condition as always, you are probably looking at hundreds of $.

You might want to hang on to that one. Don't even consider using on the trap line. smile

Made from 1913 to 1915. The Andreski/Parr book says $250.00 to $500.00, depending on condition.

Do you have a picture of the trap, that you can post?

Since I haven't seen the trap, I'd put it's value in the $0.00 - ? range.

I also have a #1.5 with the T cut in the pan but it is only in Fair shape. I will try to get a picture of them both together so you can see them. This area of Nebraska is a very poor area to try to collect traps as we have a history of poor fur #'s, medium quality and sporatic havesting methods compared to SD, ND, MN, IA. And hence not many traps or any odd ones. I do have a bunch of double jaws (V LS and On jumps 91's, 91 1/2's, LS 21's 21 1/2's 22's etc, few Newhouse 81-91's, some Triple Clutches, Diamond 21's 21 1/2's 31's etc.). They must have been from when the skunk furs were in demand around here. Don't know what box of stuff I got these Triumphs in or I'm embarrassed to say,,, how long I have had them (5-10 yrs.). I am cleaning up the corner of the basement where I have stashed these odd traps through the years and resurrected these from the Triumph pile. Anyway I have some ON 0 jumps and B&L 0 jumps (cast jaw) that I also like. P.S. I have some several V 11's (I think) with a solid (not wire) butterfly dog that connects to the pan notch from the main frame opposite side of the long spring (no cross frame). Is that the OLD Original Vic. 11 I read about occasionally? Thanks for your info.

You may not have any bear traps but you sure have a nice collection of small collectors.

Take the top extra spring off the trap, in WyLee's picture, eliminate the cross frame and turn the pan 90 degrees to the bottom so the shank is attached parallel and above (right over) the main frame,,,, with the pan dog notch about 1/2" from the jaw tips on the upper end of the frame of this trap. Take a sheet metal shaped butterfly dog (large enough to pin both jaws down and you have the #11 I am talking about. There are several V's like this (square jaw stoploss--LS and J's for one) but they use a wire dog. This is a sheet metal tab or butterfly and much smaller. Everything is factory made and I read about an OLD different type of V 11 from time to time. Wondering if this is it? Will post a picture when my wife can help me--after all--- I sign this with her ID. Thanks for your info.

I agree. A # 0 Diamond single long is not even listed in Andreski & Parr's first book.
