If so, could you post pictures of some of your favorites?

I'm starting to gain an interest in them, and would like to get an idea of what's out there, to collect. Anyone ever heard of a #0 Jump Trap?

Thanks - Crispy

# 0 are nice to collect. They are small and don't take up much space.

Some of the 0s I have

B&L single long
B&L jump

Victor jump - several different models
Victor single long

The Victor single long

King Bee by Gibbs
Kangaroo by Triumph

Triumph single long
Sargent single long with cast pan - picked up 2 at the same time. They look like identical twins

Probably some others I can't think of. The little #0 coils are so cute!!

So there is a #0 Jump trap! Thanks for the verification. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for one. Thanks, ITD.

I was afraid that would be the case. First, the big Bear traps were too expensive to collect, and now, the tiny #0's might also be too expensive! Maybe I should go with collecting #2's?

Exactly why I want to pursue them.

That's quite a list you've got there, Wissmiss. Which one, in the list, is your favorite?

!! A #0 coil had come to mind, but I thought that, surely, there was never a #0 coil spring trap made. For once I'm glad that I was wrong. Thanks, Wissmiss!

Crispy - don't get discouraged about collecting # 0 traps. Not all of them are expensive. Start with the common ones - Victor and B&L. You should be able to get any of those in really nice condition for $10.00 each or less.

While you're at it, pick up any new 0s that are being made now.

I have a #0 Newhouse a friend gave me, I keep it next to a #5 for comparison. Neat little trap and worth far more than I would have imagined.

I still use #0 b&l jumps. My favorite rat traps. Wish they still made them.

I have a #0 that appears to be Mexican or Central American that is very cool. The writing on it isn't English but is well made.

That looks like an excellent start. Keep at it and you will be surprised how your collection grows.

Look in second hand stores, antique malls, gun shows - basically any place you go. Many times traps will be over priced and you will pass on them but there are bargains to be found if you keep looking.

Have fun.

I like collecting the No 0 size traps to,just wished I could afford more of them. I remember a guy in Northern California selling part of his trap collection years ago sent me a list of traps for sale. He had 86 different No 0 's he said on list but you had to buy them all together,so that put me out. Here is a couple of No 0's I have found.
