In my mind I can visualize the protectionists, the kids, and the neighbors letting them out of the cage every time. Now having said

that, where do I get them from?

I use something similar from WCS, but it's all metal. Works fine for me on voles and mice as well.

Paul, had a friend tell me they were catching chipmunks with a clear plastic trap and they also caught a mole in it( I say a shrew)and wanted know if ever seen it, told them no...they bought 2 of them on Amazon $13.95 + $5.60 shipping made by Olson Products Inc.

You need to stake it down or put a weight on it because they said if it tips over they can get out because the doors will open. They said there dog picked up one of the traps with a chipmunk in it and it ran right down the dogs back.

Sorta works like a colony trap for muskrats.

Jeff, I have no trouble believing the dog story. I told my daughter to keep an eye on her retriever because we had our first chipmunk

in our backyard and I wanted to study its habits. So the very next day the retriever comes waltzing into the kitchen with the

chipmunk in its jaws. I screamed at my daughter, the dog ran under the kitchen table, dropped the chipmunk, and it ran right back out

the door. "Never mind!"
