I picked up this old longspring (I believe a 1-1/2) in a batch of other traps. Its in pretty sad shape, but I'm curious about who made it and approximate age. Anybody know? I'm figuring its just a wallhanger at this point.

Made by Triumph Trap Company. Last made in the mid 1930s.

The identifying feature is the crimped pan attachment. A few other companies - Diamond and Victor when they took over Triumph - used that method. But Triumph was by far the most common.

That trap is definately a wall hanger. Even in super good condition, it would probably be worth no more than $10.00.

Thanks for the info, I figured that crimped frame would be a key identifier. Just one more trap to hang on the wall.
