was just cleaning the last of the sang for the year one of the roots 53 years old . unheard of in my part of the country. by far the oldest ive ever found . been digging 45 years.

That's an old root. Oldest I have found was 32 years in northern wi. Most are 10 to 20 years.

The oldest root I ever found is 57 years old. I kept the root because I was 57 years old at that time. The root pictured in my Avatar is the 57 year old root.
