I'm at 21 years in the Marines and I think about what I want to do when I grow up - often. I'm still having fun and the young ones aren't beating me yet so I just keep going. I've done some work that involved trapping over the years. As I think about doing it more and more, along with the lessons I've learned in the past, I can't help but wonder about the lessons I'll learn in the future.

What lessons did you learn that you wish would have been brought up years before you had to learn the hard way? Pricing? Equipment? Not get married? Lol. Not get married...again? Lmao.

I'd say mine was pricing. I got into a few jobs I wish I had either priced differently (by the hour vice animal) and others I found I should have priced more appropriately.

How about you?

I just went to Apache Junction to visit family who drove down from Montana. They can keep that heat. Dang. Hotter than a pedophile in a Barney suit.

Pricing has always been a thorn in the side for me, but after spending time with a few people who have been sucessful in wildlife control, the common thing they share is simple... add up all your bills etc, see how much you have to make, then add what you want to put up (savings etc)then you will get a better fill of what you need to be charging. So like 1200 set up for mole job...275 per mole. lol
