New one for me today....a couple calls this morning... they think they have a groundhog in their attic...they go on to say what ever it is has been climbing the walls knocking stuff off shelves in the garage. There is clearly a 4 foot space between the top shelf and the rafters...I am thinking since they live down on the river they probably have a raccoon creating hate and discontent. So I go and survey the situation.... while I am up in the attic the little (this word not acceptable on trapperman) shows himself... needless to say I was proven wrong... set a couple live traps with fresh veggies from her garden. Anyone else heard of them in the attic?

David, I have had a number of woodchucks crawl up the two by fours in the garage when they were frightened. I assume they all ended

up in the crawlspace or attic but I caught them all in the garage.

I was just researching them online again... it does say that they can climb trees...I have just never seen one in an attic... kind of threw me for a minute. I did set up my live traps in the garage.
