Ok. The fox job I did this spring resulted in 8 raccoons and zero fox

Starting it back up this week, the food base is quite diminished , use to see chipmunks and squirrels all over at this job. They are almost nonexistent now

Any and all advise welcome

What limitations on traps do you have? Cages only? Can you use footholds or snares?
What traps and bait or lures did you try in the spring. If trapping fails, can you use calling as a tool?
What is the property lay out that your working?

I'm sticking with cages as neighbors domestics come on property, I used fox pee, dead mice dead chipmunks, and canine commercial baits

Property I 9 acres in middle of lakeside houses and other house, about 3 acres around house is maintained yard

Customer request no shooting as it is in a developed area

Is the fox doing any damage or just hanging around the neighborhood?

Is there a den on the property?

19 ac is a lot of land to cage trap. Not sure how you priced it but it seems you would have to spend time finding trails with recent tracks to set cages on if the fox is not coming to a specific area causing trouble. Why do they want the fox removed?

It is
9 acres, first it was seen chasing cat, then cat got killed (not positive obviously that was done by fox) two adults have been recorded on property. No luck finding den. She said since a new dog ()she's not sure who owns it) has been coming in yard she did not see it for a while but now they have returned

WCS has most of the lure and bait maker products. It would seem that most fox bait would be of interest to a dog. On this site people have talked about using dog food for bait for fox.
You might have to set 4 cages with different canine baits and see want happens, do you get paid for non targets? Will they pay for two fox?
