So I was looking in the tool shed up at our ranch and found this trap along with some early model victor number threes, the trap is pretty beat up but do yall know what it is? I looked at the pan and I could not find any thing on it it was very lightly stamped I suppose.the way the chain set up and the way the cross frame is connected kinda makes me want to say it is a post Newhouse Vic but I don't know,I'm just a novice collector.

Thanks and God bless!

Sterling~

Looks like an old Victor, broken at the pan post hole. Somebody did a nice repair on the base.
Looks like a piece of nail for a dog. Thinking the pan posts were pre-1910, I don't have the
book right here. Come to Junction in Oct. I'll have several old traps we can talk about.

I'm a bit confused. You say you looked at the pan and couldn't find anything on it.

I'm not seeing a pan on that trap, so not sure what you are/were looking at.

Bottom piece has been repaired and the cross piece is broken. That trap has seen better days.
