Getting There OP trapper G Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 7,240 West Michigan	Got a skunk that is trap shy. Going to try a funnel him into the trap. Should I have two straight sides with two angle side to the double door trap? or make have three sides with the trap at one of the corners? Do I have to fasten the bottom down to the ground? To Old U.S. Army 60-63 SGT.

Paul Winkelmann trapper P Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,361 mequon, wisconsin	Whatever fencing looks good to you, will probably look good to the skunk. Running a stake through the cage is not a bad idea and some loose ground scattered on the floor of the cage probably wouldn't hurt either.

Michigan Trappin trapper M Joined: May 2014 Posts: 4,828 Southwest Michigan	I got one under a shed, I put fencing up to double door trap and it dug two new access points for getting in And out from under shed Skunks really frustrate me Good luck to ya getting there ! Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!! If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell
