Okay folks, hoping that though I haven't seen this discussed, someone has some experience with it.

I have a cabin that I evaluated for rodent exclusion to compliment removal programs a colleague is performing.

One major issue noted during the inspection is a dark molasses looking group of streaks and stains which turned
out to be wood rat urine beneath an exterior carport.

The structure is wooden sided and so my question is anyone have experience with an option to clean this without damaging
the wood that has a reasonable success level in reducing the issue without damaging anything?

I'd post a pic, but I'm terrible at that! Suffice to say, I don't work with wood rats much, but this is definitely urine from them
and there are droppings some insulation bits as well to compliment the urine sign....

Told the property manager I wasn't sure on cleaning the wood for now, as my main reason for being there was to address the
holes, gaps, openings around the base and sides of the home and roofline for their chronic rodent incursions...

Thanks,

Justin
