I like ryobi products but was looking for opinions. I just want a really good impact driver but still compact for working in soffit corners

Well my wife totaled her Sienna. That should make her a pretty good impact driver, right?

I like the Bosch PS10-2A 12-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Driver Kit- http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-PS10-2A-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Driver/dp/B000PI48AK. It comes with a quick charger, works very well in tight places, especially with head perpendicular to body, light in weight, works an any angle. A charged battery will drive an unbelievable numbers of smaller screws. I haven't found anything that suites my needs better.

EDIT: Be sure to pick up some magnetized tips or screw holder, they sure make starting screws easier.
