That is some nice seng. Cultivated or wild? Berries should be ripe around a month or so.

Sweet! Glad to see there more people out there like me. I have seen well over a hundred wild bunches just the few times I have been out, also seen where people are already digging it unfortunately.

Cool, good luck this year and hopefully we both have a great season and a good price for seng.

What will you do with everything under 15 years old? Buyers do not want Ginseng that has been topped.Take all the good seng out and you will have trouble selling your low end. I wouldn't put a lot of merit into seng of any kind bringing 800 to 1400. Chinese economy is getting weak. going to be a interesting year to buy seng. I don't have any idea what I will pay for seng this year.

I personally dont pluck anything under 15, and when i do i replant them so they can naturally replenish what i have taken. I mean its different buyers, ends up with different results . some simply buy by the pound, some buy it sectionally like... 3.5lb for 1350 6lb for 750 ect.

So where did you get that info? I sell to a big buyer and he doesn't have a price yet.

So if you dig one under 15 you put it right back in the ground to replace the ones you did keep? I have never heard of someone buying "sectionally" everyone I have been to or talked to buy it by the pound. If you bring in 3.5 pounds you get paid for 3.5 pounds.
