I am using mouse traps with gutter covers but no luck, has anyone used glue traps around the holes?

Are you getting no fires at all? I found a few this spring that were dead outside the traps. One had pulled back into the hole. If they are avoiding the traps, are you filling alternate entrances/ exits?

My next line of thought is if they might be chipmunk holes instead of voles.

Better chance getting them on a glue trap after they shake off, the dirt actually works in their favor. What are you using for bait?

If u have holes...the traps need set over them first and then set runs that lead away....sometimes u need to follow the runs closely to see if they lead to other home areas

I seem to be having a vole problem myself so I switched to a different poison. We will see if that helps. I think the main

ingredients in the new poison is beer and cigarettes. It may take longer but they'll enjoy it more.

Try drilling a hole in the trap behind the spring. Large enough to fit a 3 inch nail into. The trap is jumping when sprung. See if that helps.

No need for bait...set runs and holes that are active....are you sure u have active voles?

Yes trapper. I have filled the holes with dirt and flagged them to see what is active
